or how to watch from the north
While reading the various spins and pontifications on the debates for the President of the United States - and I to love to pontificate - it seems to me - lowly Canadian that I am - that it would be insane of you nice people - and I mean that, I really like Americans- south of the 49th to re-elect a man who won the presidency on the bias of 5 supreme court justice. Not only that but a man who obviously shirked his responsibillity to hs county in a time of need - Viatnam - and is in bed so far with Saudi Oil that he should be renamed Shiek JW.And lastly but not least the disenfranchisement of thousands of black voters in florida.
Add to all this my dear American friends the instances of pursuing a war based uopn what was obviously a lie of weapons of mass distruction and this current president scares the bejeesus out of this northern dweller.
Now I here the howls of the rupublcans..."bleedig heart liberal canadian...go play Lacrosse or buid an igloo or what ever you people do up there". But friends let's look at this logicaly. This is the ost powerful postion of inflence and effect in the world. And I find tat if I remeber that a look at the current office holder...well I get real nervous.
Think hard dear friends when Novemeber roles around and make a desition you feel that you and the entire planet can live with.
